Job Summary
Our Company is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various heating and cooling systems for commercial properties. As and HVAC technician, you should possess strong technical skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Maintain a professional image by wearing only company approved apparel/ uniform. Follow safety policies and procedures; maintain a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates. Assist in mentoring and training maintenance technicians.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems. Inspect equipment to prevent future issues.
- Troubleshoot, resolve or identify repairs needed on service calls placed by our customers.
- perform repairs of HVAC systems with electrical and mechanical defects.
- test each system after service/repair is complete to ensure the system is functioning properly.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs and maintenances performed.
- Document services completed and debrief with service manager each service call.
- Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization both inside and out.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Service Technician in the HVAC industry (2 years minimum required)
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
